Bay Turf is a family owned and operated business by Peter & Christine Newton. Peter comes from a farming background and has been farming most of his life with over 18 years exclusively specialising in the turf industry. Being a family owned business Bay Turf prides themselves in growing and supplying quality turf for their loyal customers and is an accredited supplier of the premium lawns such as "Sir Walter" soft leaf buffalo Velvetene Seashore Paspalum and Oz Tuff Green
Peter & Christine Newton are members of the Turf Producers Australia Limited and the Queensland Turf Producers Association. Peter believes that research is very important factor for the turf industry as Bay Turf takes pride in producing a quality product and investing in also the future of the Turf industry.
All lawn is harvested with professional machinery like the 'Kesmac Slabomatic' and is cut fresh from the farm for each individual order; and they have a Posi-track bobcat so they can place the turf where you want it on delivery to your site.
Prospective customers are very welcome to visit the farm to see the high quality of the turf or view the different varieties -most who visit the farm place an order with Bay Turf as 'Word of mouth' is the most valuable advertising tool.
Bay Turf can offer pick up service with just a quick phone call - we can arrange for you to have same day pick up from the farm. Or they can arrange delivery to your door where ever you are.
